Joyia Yorgey to participate in candidate panel
Joyia Yorgey will be participating as a panelist at "Her Path to Politics: Voices of Women Candidates in Arkansas", 6pm Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at UCA's Brewer Hegeman Conference Center. This event is presented in partnership with Women's Leadership Network, Faulkner County League of Women Voters and the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation.
The event will feature a moderated panel of local women candidates running for office this November. We'll have opportunities to hear from women across the political spectrum sharing about how they made their decision to run for office, how they are running their campaigns, and what challenges and opportunities they see for women candidates in Arkansas. Panelists will be available for a meet and greet following the moderated discussion. Refreshments will be provided.
